Enys Boathouse provides versatile self-catering accommodation in West Cornwall. This unique holiday let can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.

Access to the property is via a small staircase and you arrive on the balcony, which boasts views out over Porkellis Moor and the Cornish countryside beyond.

The main living space

The open plan living area provides a cosy space for relaxing and entertaining.

The unique wooden structure is deceptively spacious, with the living and dining area doubling up as the bedroom. A comfy corner sofa and two tub chairs provide the seating here

The Kitchen Area

A sailor’s kitchen – complete with all utensils – awaits those who enjoy cooking. Other kitchen facilities include: Microwave, Small Oven and Hob, Small Fridge and Freezer, Kettle, Toaster

Open plan space

As a studio-style holiday let, the main living space flows through between the various rooms

TV & DVD Player

The open plan living space is great for relaxing. A large TV (with Netflix), DVD player (with selection of DVDs) are included for your enjoyment.

And so to bed…

As a studio-style space, the Boathouse’s main living area also doubles as the main bedroom.

The property boasts a double wall bed that handily folds away when not in use (so as not to clutter the living space). It’s easy to operate and lock into place and is a European Double, so slightly larger than a standard double. Plus you also get to sleep on a proper mattress!

Elsewhere, there’s 2 further single beds up in the Crow’s Nest, in the eaves of the property. These two small beds are accessed via a pull-down loft ladder. 2 adults can also sleep up here but we find it’s a great space for younger children, who can make it into their own little den! However, as it’s accessed via a ladder, we request that only children aged 5 or over sleep up here, although there is a lockable gate at the top.

The Double Bed

A pull down wall bed is located in the main living room, which handily folds away when not in use.

Bathroom & Other Facilities

* The property has a small bathroom with toilet, sink and shower cubicle. All towels, toilet rolls, soap, shower gel and shampoo is provided for our guests.

* The Boathouse also boasts a laundry room – located beneath the property – which is home to a washing machine and heated airer for drying clothes. Outside is a washing line, should you need to do any laundry during your stay.

*Air conditioning and heating is provided via an air source heat pump, which is easily changed via remote control. This can quickly cool the property in summer and get warm and cosy in the colder months!

*There is also a BBQ (with coal), and high chair for your convenience.

The Garden

Guests can enjoy our large garden, which is perfect for children of all ages. As well as a large lawned area (perfect for a kick-around) there’s also a playground with two swings and a slide for the little ones in your group. We simply request that all children are supervised when out in the garden to avoid any issues.
