Put your best foot forward and walk the South West Coast Path
There are dozens and dozens of miles of South West Coastal Path to explore, and a great place to start is the Lizard Peninsula, which is just a short drive away.

Places to Visit
Helston (5 miles from Enys Boathouse)
The ancient market town of Helston is just a short drive away from Enys Boathouse. This pretty town is packed full of shops, bars and restaurants and is well worth a visit. It also boasts several supermarkets – ideal for anything you might need during your stay.
The town is also home to Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) Culdrose, which hosts one of the region’s biggest air shows each summer, attracting thousands of people.
Popular with younger visitors is Flambards, the county’s main theme park, which is also in Helston. Here the whole family can enjoy rollercoaster rides, play areas and a host of different entertainment.
Falmouth (10 miles from Enys Boathouse)
Falmouth boasts a proud maritime heritage and is one of Cornwall’s busiest ports and is the world‘s third largest deep water harbour. There is much to see and do here, even if time spent on the water is not your thing. As well as the busy town centre, with its many art galleries, shops and restaurants, there’s also the National Maritime Museum, the beautiful Gyllyngvase beach and many gardens.

Helford River and Helford Passage (8 miles from Enys Boathouse)
One of Cornwall’s real hidden gems, the Helford River is a magical place. This tranquil setting really is a must visit. Take a trip down to Helford Passage and enjoy a stroll along the water’s edge in this pretty village. Enjoy a drink or a bite to eat in the Ferryboat Inn and then take a trip aboard the small ferry across to Helford village. Here you can wander around this stunning picture postcard Cornish settlement and look out over the creek, river and out to sea.

Located at nearby Mawnan Smith, Trebah Gardens is a stunning sub-tropical paradise, with a coastal backdrop. Discover this magical Cornish garden, with over 4 miles of meandering pathways. Duck under giant Gunnera plants and explore under canopies bursting with exotic blooms.
